Zhou Zhixiang, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor, the first “National Famous Forestry Teachers”. He graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University in 1985, majored in forestry, and remained in the university to teach. He was promoted to professor in 2002, mainly engaged in the teaching and research of forest ecology and landscape ecology. He has presided over 8 sub-topics of the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Science and Technology Support Program, 12 key science and technology plan projects in Hubei Province and Wuhan City, and participated in more than 20 other projects. He has won 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, 6 national software copyrights, 5 authorized invention patents, 3 local standards, and published more than 200 scientific research papers (47 SCI papers) in national core journals.
