The College of Horticulture and Forestry Science offers degree programs in Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Protected Horticulture, Landscape Gardening, Landscape Architecture, Tea Science, and Forestry Science and is highly ranked by the Ministry of Education, and the National Development and Reform Commission. We were ranked first in the third national discipline evaluation. Moreover, in 2017, the Center for World University Rankings classified the College of Horticulture and Forestry Science as a First International Horticulture Discipline.
The College of Horticulture and Forestry Science is focused on high-quality research and top talent cultivation as the fundamental task of higher education. The college aims to develop cutting-edge research teams to address major issues in the horticulture industry and to meet the national needs for socio-economic and industrial development. We carry out basic to applied research based on modern science in key laboratories and engineering centers. Our research teams use the interconnectedness of science and engineering to create interdisciplinary approaches to fundamental and goal-oriented problems.
