Xuefei Wu is the head of the Department of Landscape Architecture, College of Horticulture and Forestry, Huazhong Agricultural University. His research interests cover urban green space system planning (green infrastructure planning), natural resources and tourism environment planning and design.
His research has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, and the Soft Science Project of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. He has also presided over more than 60 planning and design practice projects. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers as the first author or corresponding author. He is the editor-in-chief of the industry standard ” the Design Guidelines of Urban Wetland Parks”.
He is the vice chairman of the Planning and Design Working Committee of the China Flower Horticulture and Landscaping Industry Association, the executive director of the fourth council of the Agricultural Science and Technology Park Branch of the Chinese Agricultural Society, the executive director of the Hubei Landscape Architecture Society, and the member of the Hubei Provincial Urban and Rural Planning Expert Database and the Landscape Architecture Expert Committee of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
He has been awarded the outstanding instructor of national masters of Landscape Architecture, Advanced Worker of Postgraduate Education, and Outstanding Educational researchers of the Landscape Architecture Industry in Hubei Province.
