Focus on citrus triploid breeding and local cultivar evaluation and improvement: 1) Citrus triploid production and the inheritance of some important traits in triploids for seedless breeding; 2) Agronomic traits and fruit quality evaluation of newly produced triploids for promising variety selection; 3) Omics-based technology to reveal the mechanism of some important traits in triploid plants, e.g. 2n gamete formation, post-zygotic abortion of triploid embryo.
