Brief Introduction
My research mainly focuses on bulbous plant, including tulip and lily. Bulbous plants are mainly propagated through vegetative reproduction-the daughter bulbs re-generation. They survive adverse environments by forming underground bulbs. It is interesting to explore how bulbs achieving dormancy, floral bud initation, as well as temperture-dependent dormancy release. Besides, We are also interested in the regulation of flower senescence and post-harvesting manipulation of cut flowers. It is expected that our research can provide basic support for breeding and efficient cultivation of bulbous flowers.
