Professor Wang Pengcheng is Ph.D. supervisor of Huazhong Agricultural University, deputy dean of College of Horticulture and Forestry and head of forestry discipline of Huazhong Agricultural University, executive director of Forest Ecology Branch of the Chinese Forestry Society and Pine Branch, Vice president of Hubei Forestry Society,President of Wild Plant Protection and Utilization Branch of the Hubei Wildlife and Plant Protection Society. He is the principle investigator of over 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Major Science and Technology Projects, the National Science and Technology Support Plan, the Key Science and Technology projects in Hubei Province. He has published more than 100 papers and books, including 40 SCI papers, 5 local standards, 5 books, and 6 monographs. He has been awarded Second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, First prize, second prize and third prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award.
