In 2004, I was enrolled in China Agricultural University as a undergraduate student, and got my PhD degree of Garden plants and ornamental horticulture in December 2013. After graduation, I joined the Huazhong Agricultural University in March 2014. In terms of teaching, offered courses such as”Protected Flower Cultivation”, “Fundamentals of Floriculture” and “Writing and Communication” for undergraduates, and participated in graduate students courses, including “germplasm resources and varieties classification of Garden plants”, “Progress of ornamental horticulture”, “Ornamental plant cultivation physiology” and “Flower application Art”. In terms of scientific research, my work focuses on postharvest and stress physiology and molecular biology of major flowers such as roses, lilies and chrysanthemums. I presided over 5 scientific research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Project, and the Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province, and published 20 papers on journals including Plant Physiology, The Journal of Experimental Botany, Plant and Cell Physiology, Plant Methods, Plants, Genes and Acta Horticulturae Sinica.
