We focus on mechanisms involved in litter decomposition, including the non-additive effects, home-field effects, and the effects of species traits. We are also interested in soil organic matter accumulation. The wide spectrum of topics investigated includes the following two major themes:
[1] Effects of understory vegetation on leaf litter decomposition in subtropical Pinus massoniana plantations;
[2] Soil organic matter accumulation and its response to modification patterns in Masson pine plantations.
